On this page
This is simply the stack I use across my companies. It is not a ranking or a required setup. Each row shows the job a service handles, the provider I use, and why it is in my stack.
Email and communication
Microsoft handles my company email, files, meetings, and internal communication.
Microsoft 365
I use Microsoft 365 for company email, calendars, Office apps, and shared files.
Microsoft Teams
I use Microsoft Teams for company chat, meetings, and day-to-day communication.
Bookkeeping and payroll
I keep bookkeeping and payroll in separate tools.
QuickBooks Online
I use QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping, transaction categorization, financial reports, and accountant access.
Gusto
I use Gusto for payroll, employee onboarding, paystubs, withholding, and payroll filings.
Domain and infrastructure
These services register the domain, direct its traffic, and run the software behind it.
GoDaddy
I use GoDaddy as the domain registrar. This is where I buy and renew the domain name.
Cloudflare
I use Cloudflare as the DNS manager. DNS records connect the domain to the website, email provider, and other services.
Google Cloud
I use Google Cloud for software infrastructure. A basic marketing website may not need this level of hosting, but it fits the software products my companies operate.
